The first time you visit, a banner asks you to choose. Only necessary keeps analytics and advertising cookies off. Accept all switches them on. Your choice is remembered for a year, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page.

Your choice can be changed at any time. How we use what the site collects is set out in the privacy policy.

Necessary

mells_consent: remembers your cookie choice. One year.
A session cookie for the admin panel, set only for our team when they sign in to the site panel. It ends when the browser closes.

The site also keeps, in your browser only and for the current visit, the advert or link that brought you here, so that it can be sent with a booking form. It is not a cookie and it is cleared when the tab is closed.

Analytics, only after Accept all

Google Analytics: _ga and _ga followed by a code. Counts visits and how pages are used. Up to two years.
Microsoft Clarity, when it is switched on: _clck and _clsk. Shows anonymously how pages are scrolled and clicked. Up to one year.

Advertising, only after Accept all

Meta pixel: _fbp and fr. Measures which Facebook and Instagram adverts lead to a booking. Up to three months.
Google Ads, when a conversion is set up: measures which Google adverts lead to a booking. Up to three months.

Before you choose

Until you choose Accept all, Google tags run in consent mode: they may send a signal without cookies that a page was seen, with no identifier for you, and the Meta pixel sends nothing.

Blocking cookies yourself

Every browser lets you delete cookies or block them for a site. The site still works without them, including the booking form.
