What is included
Inspection led pest control for homes and businesses, using products chosen for the site and the people in it, and a written report after every visit. Nobody wants to make this call, and nobody wants a van with a large insect painted on the side parked outside their villa. We understand both. Our technicians find the source first, treat only where it is needed and tell you plainly when each room is safe to use again.
- Inspection for droppings, runs and gnaw marks
- Tamper resistant bait stations and traps
- Entry points identified for sealing
- Return visits to check and clear stations
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Inspection and identification. A technician inspects kitchens, bathrooms, drains, voids, stores and the garden, identifies the pest and finds where it is coming from. Treating without knowing the source is why problems return.
- Treatment plan and quotation in writing. You receive a written plan naming the method, the products and the number of visits, with a quotation before anything is applied.
- Targeted treatment. Gel baits, residual treatments at entry and harbourage points, dusts in voids and bait stations are used where each one works best. Food, toys, pets and fish tanks are protected first.
- Proofing advice. We show you the gaps, drains and damp spots that let the pests in, and what to seal or change so the treatment lasts.
- Report and follow up. The report lists what was found, what was used and when each room is safe to use again. A follow up visit is booked where the treatment calls for one.
What your quotation depends on
A quotation for rodent control follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.
- The type of pest and how established it is
- Size and type of the property, including the garden
- Number of visits the treatment needs
- One treatment or an annual contract

Questions about rodent control
What does rodent control include?
Rodent control for rats and mice using tamper resistant bait stations and traps, with the entry points found and closed so they do not return. The work includes inspection for droppings, runs and gnaw marks; tamper resistant bait stations and traps; entry points identified for sealing.
How much does rodent control cost in Dubai?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: the type of pest and how established it is; size and type of the property, including the garden. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides rodent control in Dubai?
The MELLS provides rodent control in Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does rodent control take?
Typically 45 to 90 minutes for most apartments and 2 to 3 hours for most villas, per visit. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Will the pests come back?
They can if the source is still there, which is why we inspect first and give proofing advice. If activity returns within the period stated in your quotation, we return at no charge.
Do you offer annual pest control contracts?
Yes. An annual contract covers scheduled visits through the year and call outs between them, for homes, restaurants, offices and buildings.
Is the treatment safe for children and pets?
We use registered public health products and choose gel and bait methods wherever they will do the job, because they stay where they are placed. The technician tells you exactly when each room can be used again.
Do we need to leave the home during treatment?
For gel and bait treatments, no. For spray treatments we ask you to stay out of the treated rooms until they are dry and aired, usually a few hours.
How do I choose a company for rodent control in Dubai?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (written report listing what was found, the products used and the follow up date) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
