What is included
Most cooling complaints in Abu Dhabi trace back to the day the unit was fitted: a pipe run too long or kinked, lines never vacuumed, a drain with no fall. Our own technicians check the room load and the power supply first, fit the unit to the manufacturer's instructions and record the temperatures on a test run. We fit a unit we supply or one you bought, and say so plainly if it is the wrong size for the room.
- Site visit to check the room load, electrical supply and breaker size
- Advice on unit type and capacity before anything is ordered
- Wall bracket or pad for the outdoor unit, set level with clear airflow
- Core hole, insulated copper pipe run and a drain laid to a fall
- Lines vacuumed with a pump and gauge before the refrigerant is released
- Leak test on every joint
- Test run with supply and return air temperatures recorded
- Old unit recovered of refrigerant and taken away where it is being replaced
- Paperwork prepared for the building or master developer where it is asked for
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey and diagnosis. A technician inspects the system or surface, takes readings and photographs, and explains what was found in plain language.
- Written quotation. You receive a written quotation against a defined scope before any work starts. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately.
- Protected, supervised work. The work area is protected and isolated, and the job is carried out by our own technicians under a named supervisor.
- Testing. Every job ends with a measured test suited to the discipline, so the result is a reading and a photograph and not an opinion.
- Report and warranty. The completed report reaches you within the hour. Any failed point is put right free of charge within 48 hours.
AC Installation in Bloom Gardens: what we plan for
Bloom Gardens is a gated community near Al Salam Street, beside the Ministries Complex and the Eastern Mangrove coast. Its homes are Andalusian villas built around a central patio, Tuscan style villas with arched porches, semi detached villas and townhouses. Faya is a cluster of townhouses in the original community, and Aldhay, handed over in 2023, added two to five bedroom townhouses.
The mangrove coast to the east keeps the air humid for much of the year, and inner patios hold that moisture with little air movement. Traffic on Al Salam Street leaves a fine film on glass facing the road, and the hard water marks shower screens and outdoor taps. Courtyard humidity loads AC coils and drain pans, so these are cleaned at each service. Water heaters are descaled and pressure valves tested.
Entry is through a staffed gate, and the resident registers the crew and vehicle beforehand. Work on the outside of a home may need the community's consent. That is identified at the site visit and we prepare the paperwork requested.

Questions about AC installation in Bloom Gardens
What does AC installation include?
Supply and installation of split, ducted, cassette and multi split air conditioning for Abu Dhabi homes, offices and shops, sized to the room and tested at handover. The work includes site visit to check the room load, electrical supply and breaker size; advice on unit type and capacity before anything is ordered; wall bracket or pad for the outdoor unit, set level with clear airflow.
How much does AC installation cost in Bloom Gardens?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size and type of the system or surface; present condition and ease of access. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides AC installation in Bloom Gardens?
The MELLS provides AC installation in Bloom Gardens, Abu Dhabi. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does AC installation take?
Typically half a day for one split unit, longer for ducted systems. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Can you install a unit I have already bought?
Yes. We fit units supplied by us or by you. If the one you have bought is the wrong size for the room we tell you before it goes on the wall. An oversized unit cools fast but leaves the air damp, and an undersized one runs all day without reaching the set temperature.
What size of air conditioner does my room need?
Capacity follows the heat the room gains, not only its floor area. Glazing that faces the afternoon sun, ceiling height, a roof directly above, the number of people and any kitchen or equipment all add load. We measure and work it out at the site visit.
Can a split unit be fitted in any apartment?
No. The building decides where an outdoor unit may stand, and towers on chilled water do not take split units at all. We check the system and the building rules at the site visit and prepare the paperwork that management asks for.
How do your crews get access to Bloom Gardens?
Entry is through a staffed gate, and the resident registers the crew and vehicle beforehand. Work on the outside of a home may need the community's consent. That is identified at the site visit and we prepare the paperwork requested.
Do you work in the Aldhay townhouses?
Yes. Crews are registered at the gate by the resident, and visits run Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 19:00, by appointment after a site visit.
How do I choose a company for AC installation in Bloom Gardens?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (a measured test for every job, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
How are visits to Bloom Gardens arranged?
Visits in Abu Dhabi are booked by appointment between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday. Call or send the form and we agree the earliest time a supervisor can come to you.
