How we carry out AC not cooling repair
We begin indoors because it is quickest. A filter grey with dust or a matted coil will stop cooling on its own, and so will a packed blower wheel. If air is moving, we go to the outdoor unit and check that the compressor runs, the fan turns, the capacitor is within its rating and the contactor points are not burnt. Only then are gauges connected. Low pressure means refrigerant has leaked, so our own technicians find and repair the leak and pressure test the system before any gas goes back in.
