What is included
Carpet and rug cleaning by fibre. Wool, silk, viscose and synthetic each get their own chemistry and drying time. A hand knotted silk rug and a nylon office carpet have nothing in common except that both hold dust. We identify the fibre and construction first, then choose between shampoo, hot water extraction and low moisture methods so colours stay true and the pile recovers.
- Fibre and backing checked: wool, viscose, cotton or synthetic
- Dry soil removed with a thorough vacuum first
- Traffic lanes and spots pretreated
- Controlled moisture and fast drying to prevent browning
How we carry out white rug and carpet cleaning
A white rug shows the path people walk, the spot under the coffee table and every drop of coffee. Most of that soil is dry grit, so the first and most important step is a thorough vacuum, front and back where the rug can be turned. The technician checks the fibre and the backing: wool, cotton, synthetic and viscose all behave differently, and viscose in particular yellows and loses its sheen if it is wetted too much.
Traffic lanes and spots are pretreated, then the rug or carpet is cleaned with the method the fibre allows: hot water extraction for most synthetics and wool, a low moisture method for viscose and delicate weaves. Jute backings and natural fibres can brown if they stay damp, so drying is fast, with fans and the AC. Rugs that need a full wash, or a fringe that has yellowed, can go to the workshop.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.
White Rug and Carpet Cleaning in Al Barari: what we plan for
Al Barari is a low density community built inside botanical gardens, with streams, lakes and dense planting between the homes. It includes large private villas, The Nest and The Reserve, and the Seventh Heaven and Ashjar apartments.
The planting that makes Al Barari special also keeps humidity high and surfaces shaded. Leaf litter, pollen and insects are part of daily life, and algae grows quickly on outdoor stone and shaded walls.
There is one gated entrance and contractors are registered with security by the resident. Working hours are limited to keep the community quiet.
What your quotation depends on
A quotation for white rug and carpet cleaning in Al Barari follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.
- Size of the property and number of rooms
- Condition, and how long since the last deep clean
- Furnished and occupied, or empty
- Extras such as sofas, carpets, mattresses, external glass or outdoor areas

Questions about white rug and carpet cleaning in Al Barari
What does white rug and carpet cleaning include?
White, ivory and cream rugs and carpets cleaned to lift traffic grey and yellowing, with careful drying so no brown tide marks rise from the backing. The work includes fibre and backing checked: wool, viscose, cotton or synthetic; dry soil removed with a thorough vacuum first; traffic lanes and spots pretreated.
Can a white viscose rug be cleaned?
Yes, with care. Viscose loses its sheen and yellows when overwetted, so it is cleaned with a low moisture method and dried fast. Some marks on viscose are permanent.
Why do white rugs turn brown after washing?
Natural backings like jute release brown colour when they stay wet. Controlled moisture and fast drying stop it.
How much does white rug and carpet cleaning cost in Al Barari?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides white rug and carpet cleaning in Al Barari?
The MELLS provides white rug and carpet cleaning in Al Barari, Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 58 656 3001.
How long does white rug and carpet cleaning take?
Typically 1 to 3 hours for most homes, with carpets dry in 4 to 8 hours. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Do you clean rugs at home or take them away?
Most rugs are cleaned at your home. Delicate silk and antique pieces can be collected for a controlled wash and returned.
Will cleaning shrink or fade my wool rug?
Not when it is cleaned correctly. We use wool safe products, cool water and controlled drying, and we test the dyes first.
How often should carpets be cleaned in Dubai?
Every six months in homes, and every three months in offices or homes with pets and children. Sand is abrasive and wears the pile if it stays in.
How do your crews get access to Al Barari?
There is one gated entrance and contractors are registered with security by the resident. Working hours are limited to keep the community quiet.
Do you use products that are safe for planting?
Yes. Outdoor run off is controlled and plant safe products are used near beds and water features.
How do I choose a company for white rug and carpet cleaning in Al Barari?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
Can you come to Al Barari at short notice?
