What is included
Curtains steamed on their tracks and blinds cleaned slat by slat, without the cost and risk of taking them down. Curtains filter the dust that comes through every window and balcony door. We clean them where they hang, so there is no shrinkage, no rehanging and no bare windows.
- Call early in the day, as visits depend on a crew being free
- Fabric still tested for shrinkage and colour run before work
- Curtains vacuumed, steamed and extracted where they hang
- Rooms needed first are done first, such as guest bedrooms
How we carry out same day curtain cleaning
When you call, we ask for the number of windows, the fabric if you know it and the reason for the hurry, then check which crew can reach you that working day. Nothing is skipped on site because the booking was short notice. The hem test for shrinkage and colour run is done as usual, the curtains are vacuumed on both faces, and steam and low moisture extraction follow from the heading down. With the AC on the fabric dries quickly, so the room can be used the same evening. Tracks and poles are wiped as the crew goes.
The request usually comes before guests arrive, after a party, or after a sandstorm caught the windows open. A same day slot is offered when a crew is free and it is never promised, and in the busy weeks before Ramadan and Eid the diary fills early. What cannot be rushed is off site work: curtains that must be taken down, dry cleaned and pressed need several days. If the hem test shows the fabric cannot take steam, we tell you there and then and book the proper method instead of forcing a quick result.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.
Same Day Curtain Cleaning in Corniche Road: what we plan for
The residential stretch of Corniche Road is a line of apartment towers facing the beach and the open sea, from Etihad Towers and Nation Towers at the western end to buildings such as Al Reef Tower, Bel Ghailam Tower, Wave Tower and Saraya One further along. Homes run from studios to large penthouses, many with full height glazing and balconies over the water.
Wind off the Gulf carries salt and fine sand straight onto Corniche facades and balconies. Glass loses its clarity within a week, aluminium frames pit, and balcony drains clog with sand. Upper floors catch strong wind, so sliding doors and their seals wear faster and let dust through.
Every tower on the Corniche needs a work permit from building management and a booked service lift before work starts. Parking for service vans is limited, so loading times are agreed with the building. These rules are identified at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork the building asks for.
What your quotation depends on
A quotation for same day curtain cleaning in Corniche Road follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.
- Size of the property and number of rooms
- Condition, and how long since the last deep clean
- Furnished and occupied, or empty
- Extras such as sofas, carpets, mattresses, external glass or outdoor areas

Questions about same day curtain cleaning in Corniche Road
What does same day curtain cleaning include?
A same day visit means a crew attends on the working day you call, when one is free. It suits steam and low moisture cleaning on the track, as off site cleaning takes longer. The work includes call early in the day, as visits depend on a crew being free; fabric still tested for shrinkage and colour run before work; curtains vacuumed, steamed and extracted where they hang.
Can you always come on the day I call?
No, and we would sooner say so plainly. It depends on whether a crew is free during working hours, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. Calling in the morning gives the best chance. If that day is full we offer the next available slot.
Will curtains cleaned on the track be dry by the evening?
In nearly all cases, yes. Steam and low moisture extraction leave the fabric lightly damp, and with the AC running it dries well before the evening. Thick interlined curtains hold moisture longer, so those are done first to give them the most time.
How much does same day curtain cleaning cost in Corniche Road?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides same day curtain cleaning in Corniche Road?
The MELLS provides same day curtain cleaning in Corniche Road, Abu Dhabi. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 58 656 3001.
How long does same day curtain cleaning take?
Typically 2 to 4 hours for most homes. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Is steam safe for blackout and silk curtains?
Blackout linings are cleaned at low temperature. Silk and velvet are cleaned with low moisture methods after a test.
How often should curtains be cleaned?
Once or twice a year in Abu Dhabi, and more often near the coast or next to construction.
Do you take the curtains down?
No. They are cleaned in place, which avoids shrinkage and rehanging. Heavily soiled or lined curtains can be taken for an off site wash if needed.
Do you arrange the building permit in Corniche Road?
Yes. Most buildings ask contractors for a work permit, trade licence, insurance and staff IDs, and a service lift booking. We submit all of it for you.
Can you clean the outside of windows on a high floor?
We clean what can be reached safely from inside and from the balcony. Glass on the outer facade is the job of the building's own access contractor, and we plan around their schedule where needed.
How do I choose a company for same day curtain cleaning in Corniche Road?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
How are visits to Corniche Road arranged?
Visits in Abu Dhabi are booked by appointment between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday. Call or send the form and we agree the earliest time a supervisor can come to you.
