What is included

How we carry out thermal lined curtain cleaning
A thermal lining is a woven cloth with an acrylic or foam coating on one side, and that coating decides the method. The face fabric is vacuumed and cleaned on the track with steam held at a distance and a low moisture extraction pass, keeping heat and water away from the lining. The coated side is brush vacuumed and wiped with a damp microfibre. Curtains that need off site cleaning get a cool, gentle wash or a hand finish as the care label directs, with no tumble drying and no hot press.
These linings do hard work in Dubai, facing glass that gets very hot on a west elevation, and the coating ages faster for it. It goes brittle, cracks along the folds and flakes off as white dust on the sill. Hot steam or a hot iron softens the coating so that two faces weld together and tear apart when the curtain is opened. Solvent dry cleaning can strip some coatings altogether.
