What is included
AC ducting sized, fabricated and installed for villas, apartments, offices, shops and restaurants, with joints sealed, ducts insulated and airflow balanced. A ducted AC is only as good as the ductwork hidden above the ceiling. Ducts that are too small are noisy and starve the far rooms, and in Dubai humidity any gap in the insulation sweats and drips onto the ceiling below. How we carry out pre insulated ducting
Panels are marked out and cut with a grooving tool that leaves the outer foil intact, so each section folds into a box with only one seam to close. The seam is glued and taped, the inside corners are sealed, and flange profiles are fitted to the ends. Sections are light enough for two people to lift into a shallow void and hang on simple supports. Joints between sections are closed with the flange system and sealed. The foil face is the vapour barrier, so any cut or opening is taped.
The panel is easy to damage. A screwdriver dropped on it, a cable pulled across it or a hanger tightened too far will puncture the foil, and in Dubai humidity a punctured face lets moisture into the foam around the hole. Unsupported wide sections can bow under pressure. It is also the wrong material for kitchen extract, or for anywhere the duct will be knocked about. The site visit decides run by run whether panel or galvanised steel is the better fit.
