What is included
AC ducting sized, fabricated and installed for villas, apartments, offices, shops and restaurants, with joints sealed, ducts insulated and airflow balanced. A ducted AC is only as good as the ductwork hidden above the ceiling. Ducts that are too small are noisy and starve the far rooms, and in Dubai humidity any gap in the insulation sweats and drips onto the ceiling below. Our own technicians work out the airflow each room needs, then fabricate, hang, seal and insulate the ducts and balance the system before handover.

How we carry out duct insulation
The duct is dried and wiped clean, since tape will not hold on a wet or dusty surface. Insulation with a foil facing is cut to wrap right round the duct, fixed with adhesive and with pins on the underside of wide ducts, and overlapped at the seams. Every seam, joint and pin head is then covered with foil tape so the vapour barrier is unbroken. Flanges, hangers and damper spindles get the same care, because those are the places that are skipped when a job is rushed.
Dubai air in summer carries a great deal of moisture, and a duct full of cold air is the coldest surface in the building. One gap in the barrier the width of a finger is enough for water to form and soak into the insulation around it. Wet insulation stops insulating, grows mould and eventually drips through the ceiling. The site visit looks for stains, feels the insulation for damp and checks whether the trouble is the duct or a nearby chilled water pipe or drain line.
