What is included
Mould removal for villas and apartments that begins by finding the moisture source, then removes the growth and treats the surface behind it. How we carry out mildew removal
Mildew is mould at its earliest stage: a thin, flat film, grey or white, that sits on top of the surface. It appears on window sills where condensation runs down the glass, along the hem of a shower curtain, on a painted wall behind a blind and on fabrics stored slightly damp. At this point it has not grown into the material, so the right antifungal wash and a microfibre cloth take it off cleanly. We HEPA vacuum first where the film is dry and dusty, then wash, rinse and dry the surface.
Leave it and the job changes. Within a season the same film roots into silicone, grout and the paint itself, turns dark, and no wash will lift it; the sealant has to be cut out and the wall primed and repainted. That is the argument for dealing with mildew when it is still a wipe. The supervisor also checks why it formed: a window that streams with condensation each morning, a bathroom fan that does not clear the steam, or an AC set so cold that the sills sweat. Those findings go into the written note.
How it works
