What is included
Care for fabric, leather, wood, stone, plaster, wallpaper and other wall finishes, each one tested first and cleaned the way its finish needs. Dust carried by the AC settles into fabric panels, flutes and grasscloth, and hands leave marks on leather and metallic paper around switches and doors. No single cleaner suits every wall. We survey the walls, test each finish on a hidden spot and start with dry methods, then use only a product suited to that material, so no wax, oil, lacquer or sealer is stripped.

How we carry out polished plaster and stucco care
Polished plaster is lime plaster laid in thin coats and pressed with a steel trowel until it shines. Marmorino has the same base with a softer, stonier look. Many of these walls are then finished in wax, which gives depth and some resistance to water, and it is the wax that takes the wear. Over time it picks up hand marks around switches and doors, dulls in patches and holds dust. The supervisor first checks whether there is wax on the wall and how much sheen it still has.
The wall is dusted with a soft dry microfibre mop. Marks are eased with a mild soap solution on a damp cloth, working small areas and drying straight after. Solvents, abrasive pads and strong cleaners are kept away, as they cut through the wax and can bleach the lime. Where the wall was waxed, a thin new coat is applied and buffed by hand so the sheen evens out. Chips and hairline cracks are filled and blended by our own decorators where agreed, though an exact match on old plaster is not always possible.
How it works

- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
