What is included
Supply and installation of split, ducted, cassette and multi split air conditioning for Abu Dhabi homes, offices and shops, sized to the room and tested at handover. How we carry out AC UV light installation
A UV lamp in an AC unit has a narrow job. It shines on the wet coil and drain pan, where slime and mould grow in the dark, and it slows that growth on the surfaces it reaches. It does not clean a dirty coil, purify a whole room or replace duct cleaning. That is why the coil and pan are cleaned first where they need it, and only then are the lamps fitted. The site visit checks whether the air handler or ducted unit has the space, and an access panel close enough to reach the lamps for changing.
UV light harms eyes and skin, so safety is built into the installation. The lamps are wired through an interlock switch on the access panel, and a warning label goes on the outside. Light falling on plastic drain pans, cable insulation or flexible duct connectors breaks them down over time, so those parts are shielded or kept out of the beam. Specialist testing of lamp output is arranged where needed and stated in the quotation. The lamps lose strength with use and are replaced on a schedule we write down.
