Deep cleaning, AC care and mould removal in Al Karamah

Al Karamah is an established district in the middle of Abu Dhabi island, between Al Karamah Street and Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street. Villas and villa compounds such as Al Dhafra Compound make up much of the housing, with older standalone homes in pockets such as the Al Musalla Area. Mid rise apartment buildings including Al Maharba and Al Karama Complex line the main roads, and Delma Street runs through the middle.

Traffic on the main roads lifts fine dust that settles on window ledges, car ports and outdoor AC units. Older window seals let that dust indoors, and hard desalinated water leaves scale on taps, shower screens and kettles.

Karamah villas are usually lived in by large families, so the deep clean is timed around the household's routine. Majlis carpets are vacuumed with a HEPA vacuum and shampooed with a low moisture method, which keeps drying time short in a room the family uses daily.

Many Karamah villas have been extended over the years, and the joints between old and new walls tend to crack. The crack is opened, filled with a flexible filler, primed and repainted so the line does not telegraph through. Steel doors and window grilles are sanded and given a rust inhibiting primer.

Gated villa compounds register contractors with security in advance through the resident. Apartment buildings need a work permit from building management and a booked service lift. Where exterior work may need an approval, this is identified at the site visit and we prepare the paperwork asked for.
