What is included
Supply and installation of split, ducted, cassette and multi split air conditioning for Dubai homes, offices and shops, sized to the room and tested at handover. Most cooling complaints in Dubai trace back to the day the unit was fitted: a pipe run too long or kinked, lines never vacuumed, a drain with no fall. Our own technicians check the room load and the power supply first, fit the unit to the manufacturer's instructions and record the temperatures on a test run. We fit a unit we supply or one you bought, and say so plainly if it is the wrong size for the room.
- Pipe diameters taken from the unit manual, not from the old run
- Bends formed with a pipe bender so the bore stays round
- Liquid and suction lines insulated separately, seams taped
- Outdoor insulation wrapped or covered against the sun
How we carry out AC copper piping and insulation
Copper for air conditioning is delivered sealed and dry, and it stays capped until the moment it is joined. Bends are made with a pipe bender to keep the bore round. Flares are cut square, deburred, formed with a flaring tool and tightened with a torque spanner. Brazed joints are made with nitrogen flowing through the pipe. Each line gets its own closed cell insulation sleeve with the seams glued and taped, and the run is clipped so it cannot sag. A nitrogen pressure test proves the joints before the vacuum.
Pipework faults hide inside walls and ceilings, which makes them hard to put right later. A flattened bend throttles the refrigerant. A gap in the insulation sweats in Dubai humidity and leaves a brown patch on the ceiling below. Outdoors, bare foam insulation turns to powder in the sun within a couple of summers, and the suction line then gains heat all day. The site visit traces the route, counts the bends and checks whether existing chases and sleeves can be used.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey and diagnosis. A technician inspects the system or surface, takes readings and photographs, and explains what was found in plain language.
- Written quotation. You receive a written quotation against a defined scope before any work starts. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately.
- Protected, supervised work. The work area is protected and isolated, and the job is carried out by our own technicians under a named supervisor.
- Testing. Every job ends with a measured test suited to the discipline, so the result is a reading and a photograph and not an opinion.
- Report and warranty. The completed report reaches you within the hour. Any failed point is put right free of charge within 48 hours.
AC Copper Piping and Insulation in Dubai Investment Park: what we plan for
Dubai Investment Park is a mixed use district in two phases. Much of it is working land: warehouses, factories, showrooms, offices and staff accommodation. Inside it sits Green Community, a planted residential quarter of villas, bungalows, townhouses and low rise apartment buildings around lakes and lawns, in West, East and Village sections. Dunes Village, Ritaj, Centurion Residences and Ewan Residences are apartment communities in the wider park, and Schon Business Park is an office and retail address.
Two environments sit side by side. In Green Community the dense planting and daily irrigation mean leaf litter, pollen, insects and overspray marks on glass and walls. Along the industrial roads, lorries and open yards raise a heavy dust that settles on facades, car parks and rooftop AC units. Villas here have several AC zones and older ductwork, so a service takes in the grilles, filters, coils and drain lines of every zone. Rooftop and yard units near the industrial roads have their condenser fins washed more often.
Green Community is a managed estate, and the resident tells security about the crew before the visit. The apartment communities issue their own contractor permits, and The MELLS applies for them. Warehouses and factories set their own site rules, confirmed at the site visit.

Questions about AC copper piping and insulation in Dubai Investment Park
What does AC copper piping and insulation include?
Refrigerant pipe is run in copper of the diameter the unit calls for, each line insulated on its own, clipped at regular intervals and pressure tested with nitrogen. The work includes pipe diameters taken from the unit manual, not from the old run; bends formed with a pipe bender so the bore stays round; liquid and suction lines insulated separately, seams taped.
Can leaking or damaged AC pipes be repaired?
A single leak at a flare or a brazed joint can usually be remade. Pipe that is kinked, corroded along its length or buried and leaking in an unknown place is better replaced on a new route, and we tell you which after a pressure test.
Why is the insulation on my AC pipes crumbling?
Sunlight breaks down the foam. Once it cracks, the cold pipe gains heat and drips condensation. We strip the old sleeve, fit new closed cell insulation and protect it with UV resistant tape or a cover trunking so that it lasts outdoors.
How much does AC copper piping and insulation cost in Dubai Investment Park?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size and type of the system or surface; present condition and ease of access. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides AC copper piping and insulation in Dubai Investment Park?
The MELLS provides AC copper piping and insulation in Dubai Investment Park. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does AC copper piping and insulation take?
Typically half a day for one split unit, longer for ducted systems. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Can a split unit be fitted in any apartment?
No. The building decides where an outdoor unit may stand, and towers on chilled water do not take split units at all. We check the system and the building rules at the site visit and prepare the paperwork that management asks for.
Why do the lines have to be vacuumed?
Air and moisture left in the copper pipes mix with the refrigerant and the oil, which lowers cooling and wears the compressor early. A vacuum pump draws both out, and the gauge has to hold steady before the refrigerant is released into the lines.
Do you install air conditioners in Dubai Investment Park?
Yes. Our own technicians install split, ducted, cassette and multi split systems across Dubai. A site visit comes first, to check the room, the power supply and where the outdoor unit can go, and the scope is then put in writing.
How do your crews get access to Dubai Investment Park?
Green Community is a managed estate, and the resident tells security about the crew before the visit. The apartment communities issue their own contractor permits, and The MELLS applies for them. Warehouses and factories set their own site rules, confirmed at the site visit.
Are Green Community West and the Village covered too?
Yes. Villas, bungalows, townhouses and apartments in every part of Green Community are looked after by one team. Security is told about the crew beforehand, and exterior work waits until any approval the community asks for is in place.
How do I choose a company for AC copper piping and insulation in Dubai Investment Park?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (a measured test for every job, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
Can you come to Dubai Investment Park at short notice?
Yes. Crews travel from our Barsha Heights base, and urgent work in Dubai is attended within two hours between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday.
