What is included
A complete clean of every room, surface, fitting and fixture in the home, scoped in writing and signed off against fourteen checks. Deep cleaning reaches what weekly housekeeping leaves behind: the tops of wardrobes, AC grilles, window tracks, the grease line behind the cooker and the limescale that hard water leaves on glass and chrome. A supervised crew from The MELLS works through the home in a fixed order so nothing is missed and nothing is cleaned twice.
- Guest room wardrobe and drawers wiped inside, ready for luggage
- Mattress, bed base and headboard HEPA vacuumed before the bed is made
- Guest bathroom descaled, drain flushed and extractor grille cleaned
- Fridge shelves cleared and wiped ready for extra shopping
How we carry out deep cleaning before guests arrive
Guest rooms are often the least used rooms in the home, which means dust on every ledge and a bathroom whose traps have dried. We open the room up, run the AC and the taps, then HEPA vacuum the ceiling corners, AC grille, wardrobe top, mattress and bed base. The wardrobe and drawers are wiped inside so there is clean space for luggage. The guest bathroom is descaled and its floor drain flushed. The kitchen, fridge, dining area and living room follow, and the floors are scrubbed last.
A spare room in Abu Dhabi that has sat closed with the AC off can smell stale within weeks, and a shower that is rarely run leaves limescale rings and a dry trap. Doing the clean too early lets dust settle again before anyone arrives; doing it on the morning of arrival leaves wet floors and the smell of product. At the site visit we ask how many guests are expected, which rooms they will use, the arrival date and if carpets, sofas or the mattress should be cleaned as well.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.
Deep Cleaning Before Guests Arrive in Al Rawdah: what we plan for
Al Rawdah covers the southern inland part of Abu Dhabi island, between Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street and Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street, with Zayed Sports City on its edge. Housing mixes private villas set back from the main streets, mid rise apartment and hotel apartment buildings, and the Rihan Heights towers rising above podium gardens near the sports city.
Open ground around the sports grounds and the main roads means fine sand reaches every terrace and window track. Closer to Khor Al Maqta, humidity rises in summer, and condensation forms on cold AC ducts in roof spaces and ceiling voids. Sand is the main enemy in Al Rawdah, so tracks, sills and grilles are vacuumed before any wet cleaning, otherwise the sand turns to mud. In tower apartments the focus is kitchen extractors, bathroom limescale and balcony glass, while villas add majlis areas, outdoor kitchens and car ports.
Rihan Heights and the apartment buildings need a work permit from building management and a service lift booking. Private villas are reached with the owner's agreement. Any approval for exterior work is identified at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork the community asks for.
What your quotation depends on
A quotation for deep cleaning before guests arrive in Al Rawdah follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.
- Size of the property and number of rooms
- Condition, and how long since the last deep clean
- Furnished and occupied, or empty
- Extras such as sofas, carpets, mattresses, external glass or outdoor areas

Questions about deep cleaning before guests arrive in Al Rawdah
What does deep cleaning before guests arrive include?
When family or friends are coming to stay, the guest bedroom, guest bathroom, kitchen and living areas are deep cleaned in that order, with beds and bathrooms given the most time. The work includes guest room wardrobe and drawers wiped inside, ready for luggage; mattress, bed base and headboard HEPA vacuumed before the bed is made; guest bathroom descaled, drain flushed and extractor grille cleaned.
How close to the arrival date should we book?
Two or three days before your guests land is the usual choice. That leaves time for floors and any wet cleaned fabric to dry and for a small fix if something is spotted, while the rooms are still fresh when the door opens.
Can you clean only the guest rooms?
That is fine. The scope can be limited to the guest bedroom and bathroom, or widened to the kitchen and living areas. Whatever is agreed at the site visit is listed room by room in the written quotation, so both sides know what is covered.
How much does deep cleaning before guests arrive cost in Al Rawdah?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides deep cleaning before guests arrive in Al Rawdah?
The MELLS provides deep cleaning before guests arrive in Al Rawdah, Abu Dhabi. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 58 656 3001.
How long does deep cleaning before guests arrive take?
Typically 4 to 8 hours for most apartments, and 1 to 2 days for most villas with a crew of four to six. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
What is the difference between deep cleaning and regular cleaning?
Regular cleaning keeps visible surfaces tidy. Deep cleaning removes the build up that regular cleaning cannot reach, including grease behind appliances, limescale on glass and chrome, dust on high ledges and inside cabinets, and sand packed into window tracks. It uses machines, specialist chemistry and a larger supervised crew.
How often should a home in Al Rawdah be deep cleaned?
Twice a year suits most homes in Abu Dhabi. Homes near the coast, near construction or with pets, young children or allergy sufferers benefit from a deep clean every three to four months.
Do I need to be at home during the deep clean?
No. Many clients hand over a key or arrange access with security. The supervisor sends photographs during the day and the signed report at the end.
How do your crews get access to Al Rawdah?
Rihan Heights and the apartment buildings need a work permit from building management and a service lift booking. Private villas are reached with the owner's agreement. Any approval for exterior work is identified at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork the community asks for.
Do you clean apartments in Rihan Heights?
Yes, by appointment. The building permit and service lift booking are arranged first, and the crew brings its own equipment in through the service entrance.
How do I choose a company for deep cleaning before guests arrive in Al Rawdah?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
How are visits to Al Rawdah arranged?
Visits in Abu Dhabi are booked by appointment between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday. Call or send the form and we agree the earliest time a supervisor can come to you.
