What is included
A complete clean of every room, surface, fitting and fixture in the home, scoped in writing and signed off against fourteen checks. Deep cleaning reaches what weekly housekeeping leaves behind: the tops of wardrobes, AC grilles, window tracks, the grease line behind the cooker and the limescale that hard water leaves on glass and chrome. A supervised crew from The MELLS works through the home in a fixed order so nothing is missed and nothing is cleaned twice.
- Balcony and terrace swept, rinsed and squeegeed before indoor work
- Window and door tracks vacuumed out, then wiped clean
- AC grilles vacuumed and return air filters checked for loading
- Surfaces vacuumed with a soft brush before a damp microfibre wipe
How we carry out deep cleaning after a sandstorm
Storm dust is finer than ordinary house dust and slightly abrasive. Wipe it with a dry cloth and it scratches glass, lacquer and polished stone. We start outside, sweeping and rinsing balconies and terraces so the dust is not carried back in on shoes. Window and sliding door tracks are vacuumed out next. Indoors, every surface is vacuumed with a soft brush on a HEPA machine, working from the ceiling down, and only then wiped with a damp microfibre that is rinsed often. Floors are vacuumed and mopped last.
Even with every window shut, a sandstorm pushes dust through door thresholds, window track drain holes, exhaust fans and the fresh air intake of the AC. It settles thickest near the balcony doors and on the AC return grille. Running the AC hard straight after a storm draws that dust into the filters and coil. The site visit checks which rooms face the wind, the state of the door and window seals and if the filters need washing or the AC needs its own service.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.
Deep Cleaning After a Sandstorm in Mirdif: what we plan for
Mirdif is one of Dubai's established family districts, east of the airport, with streets of private villas built from the 1990s onwards, the townhouses of Shorooq and Mushrif Village, and apartments at Uptown Mirdif, Ghoroob, Mirdif Hills and Mirdif Tulip. Al Warqa, Al Mizhar, Al Rashidiya, Nad Al Hamar and Al Khawaneej surround it with larger private villas.
Many homes here are twenty to thirty years old, so AC ducts, water tanks, roofs and bathrooms have had time to collect what newer communities have not seen yet. Mature gardens bring leaf litter and irrigation marks, and dust settles quickly on sills, roofs and outdoor furniture. Older Mirdif villas often have a separate majlis, an outside kitchen, staff rooms and a roof with water tanks. We work top floor first, descale bathrooms that have seen years of hard water, degrease both kitchens and wash down the yard, the car porch and the boundary walls.
Most streets are open, with no community gate, and we park at the villa. Apartment communities such as Ghoroob, Uptown Mirdif and Mirdif Hills need a work permit from building management, which we arrange.

Questions about deep cleaning after a sandstorm in Mirdif
What does deep cleaning after a sandstorm include?
After a sandstorm the fine dust is lifted dry before any water touches it. Balconies and window tracks are cleared first, then every indoor surface is HEPA vacuumed and wiped. The work includes balcony and terrace swept, rinsed and squeegeed before indoor work; window and door tracks vacuumed out, then wiped clean; aC grilles vacuumed and return air filters checked for loading.
How soon after a sandstorm should the home be cleaned?
Once the air has cleared, usually the day after, so that a second wave of dust does not undo the work. Until then keep windows shut and avoid wiping surfaces dry, which only scratches them.
Do you clean the AC after a storm?
Grilles are vacuumed and washable filters are rinsed and dried as part of the clean. If the filters are heavily loaded or the unit smells dusty when it starts, a coil and duct service by our AC technicians is the right next step and can be booked alongside.
How much does deep cleaning after a sandstorm cost in Mirdif?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean.
