What is included

How we carry out ceiling fan cleaning
Fan blades gather a thick grey felt on their top edge, more so in Dubai where fine sand finds its way into every room. Switching the fan on before cleaning throws that dust across the room, and wiping it with a dry cloth does much the same. We switch the fan off at the wall, cover the bed or sofa below, and work from a stable platform ladder. Each blade is wiped from the hub outward with a damp microfibre sleeve that holds the dust instead of dropping it.
Once the blades are clean, the motor housing, downrod and canopy are wiped, and the light kit comes apart. Glass shades are washed by hand and dried before going back, and bulbs are dusted. Terrace fans take longer because salt and humidity leave a sticky film that a damp cloth alone will not lift, so a mild detergent is used. Wobble, a ticking noise or a loose blade bracket is noted for our technicians rather than tightened blind.
