What is included
Degreasing of every surface, appliance and cabinet interior, with food contact surfaces ATP tested. Cooking oil travels. It coats the hood, the cabinet tops and the wall behind the cooker, and it holds dust. We strip the grease, clean inside every unit and appliance and test food contact surfaces so the kitchen is hygienically clean and not just shiny.
- Shelves cleared and expired or stale packets set aside for you to decide
- Shelves, walls and floor vacuumed into the corners and shelf joints
- Sticky rings from oil and syrup lifted with a mild degreaser
- Signs of pantry moths or ants noted for our pest control team
How we carry out pantry deep cleaning
Pantries fill up quietly. Packets are pushed to the back, oil bottles leave rings, rice and flour spill into corners, and the bottom shelf becomes a store for things nobody uses. We empty the pantry one shelf at a time onto a clean surface and set aside anything past its date or open and stale for you to decide on, rather than throwing it out ourselves. The bare shelves, walls and floor are vacuumed with a crevice tool, which reaches the gap at the back of each shelf where crumbs gather.
Shelves are then wiped with a mild degreaser to lift the sticky rings left by oil, honey and syrup, and rinsed with clean water. Wire racks are wiped bar by bar. While the shelves are bare the supervisor looks for webbing, small moths, ants or droppings, which point to a pest problem that cleaning alone will not solve. Once the surfaces are dry, items go back with labels and dates facing out, heavy jars low and the most used items at hand height.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.
Pantry Deep Cleaning in Khalifa City: what we plan for
Khalifa City is mostly large private villas built plot by plot, many of them extended over the years with a majlis, staff quarters or a second house on the same land. Khalifa City A is the established part, with apartment developments such as Al Rayyana and Etihad Plaza. Khalifa City B, now also called Shakhbout City, is newer and lower density, and Al Merief is a district of private villa plots.
Open plots and building sites between the homes keep sand and cement dust in the air, and it settles in courtyards, on roof terraces and inside AC return grilles. Roof water tanks are exposed to full sun, and the hard desalinated supply scales up heaters and mixer taps quickly.
Most villas are on open streets, so the crew parks at the gate and works with the owner or the house staff. Apartment buildings ask for a permit and a lift booking. Any outside work that may need the community or municipality to agree is identified at the site visit.
What your quotation depends on
A quotation for pantry deep cleaning in Khalifa City follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.
- Size of the property and number of rooms
- Condition, and how long since the last deep clean
- Furnished and occupied, or empty
- Extras such as sofas, carpets, mattresses, external glass or outdoor areas

Questions about pantry deep cleaning in Khalifa City
What does pantry deep cleaning include?
Walk in and kitchen pantries are emptied shelf by shelf, cleaned of crumbs, spills and sticky residue, checked for pests, and restocked with dates in view. The work includes shelves cleared and expired or stale packets set aside for you to decide; shelves, walls and floor vacuumed into the corners and shelf joints; sticky rings from oil and syrup lifted with a mild degreaser.
Will you throw away out of date food?
Not without asking. Anything past its date, opened and stale or showing signs of pests is set aside and shown to you or your housekeeper, and only what you agree is discarded. Everything else goes back on the shelves.
What if you find pantry moths?
Infested packets are bagged and shown to you, and the shelves are vacuumed with extra care at the joints and shelf pins where larvae hide. Our pest control team can treat the space as a separate item if the signs point to more than one packet.
How much does pantry deep cleaning cost in Khalifa City?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.

Do you clean inside the oven and hood?
Yes. Racks, trays and filters are removed and soaked, and the oven cavity and hood are degreased.
Do I need to empty the cabinets?
It helps, but the crew can empty and restock cabinets shelf by shelf if you prefer.
What does ATP tested mean?
An ATP swab measures organic residue on a surface in seconds. We test food contact surfaces after cleaning and pass at below 30 RLU.
How do your crews get access to Khalifa City?
Most villas are on open streets, so the crew parks at the gate and works with the owner or the house staff. Apartment buildings ask for a permit and a lift booking. Any outside work that may need the community or municipality to agree is identified at the site visit.
Can you work on a villa compound with several houses on one plot?
Yes. Each house and the shared areas are scoped separately at the site visit, then cleaned or serviced in the order you choose, over one or several days.
How do I choose a company for pantry deep cleaning in Khalifa City?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
