What is included
Most lighting faults in Dubai trace back to a fitting screwed into gypsum board alone, a driver with no headroom, or a joint that humidity has reached. Our own technicians isolate the circuit at the distribution board, prove it dead with a tester and work to the manufacturer's instructions. Any approval the building or the community asks for is identified at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork.
- Circuit isolated at the distribution board and proved dead before work
- Replacement of failed fittings, lamps, drivers and transformers
- Downlights and spotlights cut in to the correct cut out size
- LED strip in aluminium channel for coves, cabinets and stairs
- Pendants, chandeliers and wall lights on fixings rated for their weight
- Dimmers, smart switches and motion sensors matched to the lamps
- Bathroom, garden and facade lights with sealed connections
- Fault finding on flicker, buzzing and lights that trip the breaker
- Photographs before and after, checked against the 14 Point Standard
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey and diagnosis. A technician inspects the system or surface, takes readings and photographs, and explains what was found in plain language.
- Written quotation. You receive a written quotation against a defined scope before any work starts. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately.
- Protected, supervised work. The work area is protected and isolated, and the job is carried out by our own technicians under a named supervisor.
- Testing. Every job ends with a measured test suited to the discipline, so the result is a reading and a photograph and not an opinion.
- Report and warranty. The completed report reaches you within the hour. Any failed point is put right free of charge within 48 hours.

Questions about lights fixing & lighting installation in Trinity, DAMAC Hills
What does lights fixing & lighting installation include?
Light fixing and lighting installation for homes, offices and shops, from one replaced fitting to downlights, LED strip, pendants and outdoor lights. The work includes circuit isolated at the distribution board and proved dead before work; replacement of failed fittings, lamps, drivers and transformers; downlights and spotlights cut in to the correct cut out size.
How much does lights fixing & lighting installation cost in Trinity, DAMAC Hills?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size and type of the system or surface; present condition and ease of access. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides lights fixing & lighting installation in Trinity, DAMAC Hills?
The MELLS provides lights fixing & lighting installation in Trinity, DAMAC Hills, Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does lights fixing & lighting installation take?
Typically 1 to 3 hours for a few fittings, longer for whole rooms. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Can a heavy chandelier hang from a gypsum ceiling?
Not from the board itself. The weight has to go to the slab or a joist through a fixing rated for the load, with the gypsum only covering it. We open a small access above the position, set the anchor and close the ceiling around the rose.
Is a permit needed for lighting work in a tower or mall in Trinity, DAMAC Hills?
Towers and malls normally ask for a work permit, and a retail unit has to follow the landlord fit out guide. We identify what applies at the site visit and prepare the paperwork the building or the landlord asks for.
Should every light in a room be the same colour?
Within one room, yes. Warm white suits living rooms and bedrooms, and neutral white suits kitchens and work areas. Two whites on one ceiling look patchy, so we read the colour temperature printed on each lamp before it is fitted.
How do your crews get access to Trinity, DAMAC Hills?
Both communities are gated. Residents register our crew through the community app, and apartment buildings need a work permit and a service lift booking.
Can you work in the Trump Estates and other gated clusters?
Yes. Send us the appointment and we provide the staff and vehicle details for the gate.
How do I choose a company for lights fixing & lighting installation in Trinity, DAMAC Hills?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (a measured test for every job, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
