What is included
Light fixing and lighting installation for homes, offices and shops, from one replaced fitting to downlights, LED strip, pendants and outdoor lights. Most lighting faults in Dubai trace back to a fitting screwed into gypsum board alone, a driver with no headroom, or a joint that humidity has reached. Our own technicians isolate the circuit at the distribution board, prove it dead with a tester and work to the manufacturer's instructions. Any approval the building or the community asks for is identified at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork.

How we carry out track lighting installation
A laser line gives the run, since a track that wanders by a few millimetres shows along its whole length. Surface track is screwed to the slab or to the framing of a false ceiling at close centres. Recessed track sits in a slot formed when the ceiling is built, and suspended track hangs on wire from anchors above. The live feed enters at one end or through a centre connector. Joints and corners use the maker's couplers, and the heads are added, aimed and locked last.
Heads from one maker rarely fit a track from another, which catches people who buy the two separately. Too many heads on one length overload it, and a track fixed only to gypsum board sags between the screws. Can a heavy chandelier hang from a gypsum ceiling?
Not from the board itself. The weight has to go to the slab or a joist through a fixing rated for the load, with the gypsum only covering it. We open a small access above the position, set the anchor and close the ceiling around the rose.
Is a permit needed for lighting work in a tower or mall in Dubai?
Towers and malls normally ask for a work permit, and a retail unit has to follow the landlord fit out guide. We identify what applies at the site visit and prepare the paperwork the building or the landlord asks for.
Should every light in a room be the same colour?
Within one room, yes. Warm white suits living rooms and bedrooms, and neutral white suits kitchens and work areas. Two whites on one ceiling look patchy, so we read the colour temperature printed on each lamp before it is fitted.

Four causes account for most flicker: a failing driver, a dimmer that does not suit the lamp, a loose neutral, or a transformer carrying more than it should. We test for them in turn instead of swapping lamps at random, and show you what we found.
