What is included
On site upholstery cleaning matched to the fibre, extracted at low moisture and dried below 12 percent so nothing grows back. Sofas hold body oils, dust and spills deep in the weave. We identify the fabric first, test for colour fastness, then clean with shampoo, steam or dry foam as the fibre allows and extract the soil rather than pushing it deeper.
- Fabric code and colour fastness tested on a hidden spot
- Deep vacuum of seat, back, arms and the gaps under the cushions
- Spot treatment of food, drink and body oil marks
- Hot water extraction, low moisture or dry cleaning to suit the fabric
How we carry out 2 seater sofa cleaning
A two seater is often the most used sofa in the home: the one in front of the television, in the study or at the foot of the bed. That shows on the arm fronts and the seat edges, where hands and skin rest, and in the gap behind the seat cushion where crumbs and dust collect. The technician reads the care code, tests the fabric for colour run on a hidden spot and vacuums every surface, including under the cushions and down the sides.
Marks are pretreated one by one, then the sofa is cleaned with the method the fabric allows: hot water extraction for most synthetic and blended fabrics, a low moisture clean for natural fibres and dry solvent for fabrics coded S. Cushion covers stay on unless the label allows washing. A two seater usually takes under an hour, and it is often booked with an armchair or a set of dining chairs on the same visit.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.
2 Seater Sofa Cleaning in Corniche Road: what we plan for
The residential stretch of Corniche Road is a line of apartment towers facing the beach and the open sea, from Etihad Towers and Nation Towers at the western end to buildings such as Al Reef Tower, Bel Ghailam Tower, Wave Tower and Saraya One further along. Homes run from studios to large penthouses, many with full height glazing and balconies over the water.
Wind off the Gulf carries salt and fine sand straight onto Corniche facades and balconies. Glass loses its clarity within a week, aluminium frames pit, and balcony drains clog with sand. Upper floors catch strong wind, so sliding doors and their seals wear faster and let dust through.
Every tower on the Corniche needs a work permit from building management and a booked service lift before work starts. Parking for service vans is limited, so loading times are agreed with the building. These rules are identified at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork the building asks for.
What your quotation depends on
A quotation for 2 seater sofa cleaning in Corniche Road follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.
- Size of the property and number of rooms
- Condition, and how long since the last deep clean
- Furnished and occupied, or empty
- Extras such as sofas, carpets, mattresses, external glass or outdoor areas

Questions about 2 seater sofa cleaning in Corniche Road
What does 2 seater sofa cleaning include?
A two seater sofa cleaned on site in one short visit: fabric tested, vacuumed, treated for stains and cleaned with the method the fabric label allows. The work includes fabric code and colour fastness tested on a hidden spot; deep vacuum of seat, back, arms and the gaps under the cushions; spot treatment of food, drink and body oil marks.
Can a two seater sofa be cleaned in a small apartment?
Yes. It is cleaned where it stands, with the floor protected, and needs no more room than the sofa itself and a little space to work around it.
Can you clean a two seater with other furniture on the same visit?
Yes. Armchairs, ottomans, dining chairs, cushions and a rug are often cleaned at the same time, and the quotation lists each piece.
How much does 2 seater sofa cleaning cost in Corniche Road?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides 2 seater sofa cleaning in Corniche Road?
The MELLS provides 2 seater sofa cleaning in Corniche Road, Abu Dhabi. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 58 656 3001.
How long does 2 seater sofa cleaning take?
Typically 1 to 3 hours for most sofa sets, with fabrics dry enough to use in 4 to 6 hours. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
How long does a sofa take to dry?
Most fabric sofas are dry to the touch in four to six hours with the AC running. We measure residual moisture before leaving so the sofa is never left wet.
Can all stains be removed?
Most food, drink and body oil stains come out fully. Ink, dye transfer and old set stains may only lighten. We tell you what to expect before we start.
Is steam safe for my sofa?
Not for every fabric. Velvet, silk blends and some viscose fabrics need low moisture or dry methods. We test first and choose the method the fabric can take.
Do you arrange the building permit in Corniche Road?
Yes. Most buildings ask contractors for a work permit, trade licence, insurance and staff IDs, and a service lift booking. We submit all of it for you.
What days do you work on the Corniche?
Corniche appointments run Monday to Saturday between 08:00 and 19:00, subject to the building's own permitted hours for contractors, which we confirm before booking.
How do I choose a company for 2 seater sofa cleaning in Corniche Road?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
How are visits to Corniche Road arranged?
