What is included
On site upholstery cleaning matched to the fibre, extracted at low moisture and dried below 12 percent so nothing grows back. Sofas hold body oils, dust and spills deep in the weave. We identify the fabric first, test for colour fastness, then clean with shampoo, steam or dry foam as the fibre allows and extract the soil rather than pushing it deeper.
- Cover fabric identified and a hidden patch tested for colour run
- Seams, piping and button tufts brushed out and HEPA vacuumed
- Upholstery cleaned by low moisture extraction, or a dry foam on delicate fabrics
- Frame wiped to its finish: polished timber, painted wood, metal or rattan
How we carry out chaise longue and daybed cleaning
A chaise longue in a bedroom or a daybed by the window is often covered in a fabric that would never survive a family sofa: velvet, linen, silk blends or chenille. The technician checks the label where there is one and tests a hidden patch under the seat for colour run before choosing a method. Piping and the line where the seat meets the raised back hold the most dust and hair, so they are brushed out first and HEPA vacuumed with a narrow nozzle. Body oils build up at the headrest end and are worked on by hand.
Sturdy fabrics are cleaned by low moisture extraction. Velvet is cleaned with a dry foam and brushed in the direction of the pile so it dries without crushed patches, and silk blends are cleaned by hand with very little moisture. Terrace daybeds are a different case, with outdoor cushions full of fine sand and a frame that takes sun and salt air. Those cushions are vacuumed hard, washed and dried in the shade. Frames are wiped to their finish, and polished timber is never left wet.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.
Chaise Longue and Daybed Cleaning in Jumeirah Islands: what we plan for
Jumeirah Islands is a gated community of large villas set on small islands in a man made lake, grouped into European, Mediterranean, Islamic, Oasis and Tropical clusters, with a row of mansions on the outer edge. Next to it, Jumeirah Park is a newer community of Legacy, Regional and Heritage villas arranged in nine districts.
Almost every home in Jumeirah Islands faces water, so humidity is high and glass picks up mineral spotting. Gardens are mature and irrigated daily, which marks boundary walls and feeds algae on shaded paving.
Both communities have security gates. Residents register our crew in advance, and exterior work needs approval from community management.
What your quotation depends on
A quotation for chaise longue and daybed cleaning in Jumeirah Islands follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.
- Size of the property and number of rooms
- Condition, and how long since the last deep clean
- Furnished and occupied, or empty
- Extras such as sofas, carpets, mattresses, external glass or outdoor areas

Questions about chaise longue and daybed cleaning in Jumeirah Islands
What does chaise longue and daybed cleaning include?
Chaise longues, daybeds and loungers cleaned to their upholstery, with buttons and piping detailed by hand and the timber, metal or rattan frame wiped to its own finish. The work includes cover fabric identified and a hidden patch tested for colour run; seams, piping and button tufts brushed out and HEPA vacuumed; upholstery cleaned by low moisture extraction, or a dry foam on delicate fabrics.
Can you clean a daybed that sits outside by the pool?
Outdoor cushions are vacuumed to pull out sand, washed and dried in the shade, and zipped covers are cleaned off the foam where the label allows. The frame is cleaned to its material, whether powder coated aluminium, teak, rattan or synthetic weave.
Is velvet on a chaise longue safe to clean?
Velvet cleans well with a low moisture foam, but water marks it and pressure crushes the pile. The technician works in the direction of the nap and brushes it as it dries. Old crushed areas from years of sitting may lift only partly.
How much does chaise longue and daybed cleaning cost in Jumeirah Islands?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides chaise longue and daybed cleaning in Jumeirah Islands?
The MELLS provides chaise longue and daybed cleaning in Jumeirah Islands, Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 58 656 3001.
How long does chaise longue and daybed cleaning take?
Typically 1 to 3 hours for most sofa sets, with fabrics dry enough to use in 4 to 6 hours. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Is steam safe for my sofa?
Not for every fabric. Velvet, silk blends and some viscose fabrics need low moisture or dry methods. We test first and choose the method the fabric can take.
How long does a sofa take to dry?
Most fabric sofas are dry to the touch in four to six hours with the AC running. We measure residual moisture before leaving so the sofa is never left wet.
Can all stains be removed?
Most food, drink and body oil stains come out fully. Ink, dye transfer and old set stains may only lighten. We tell you what to expect before we start.
How do your crews get access to Jumeirah Islands?
Both communities have security gates. Residents register our crew in advance, and exterior work needs approval from community management.
How long does a villa deep clean take in Jumeirah Park?
A four or five bedroom villa takes a crew of five to six one full day. Larger or heavily furnished homes run into a second day.
How do I choose a company for chaise longue and daybed cleaning in Jumeirah Islands?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
