What is included
A complete clean of every room, surface, fitting and fixture in the home, scoped in writing and signed off against fourteen checks. Deep cleaning reaches what weekly housekeeping leaves behind: the tops of wardrobes, AC grilles, window tracks, the grease line behind the cooker and the limescale that hard water leaves on glass and chrome. A supervised crew from The MELLS works through the home in a fixed order so nothing is missed and nothing is cleaned twice.
- Windows opened and AC run to change the air before work starts
- Every tap, shower and WC flushed and floor traps refilled
- Fridge, cupboards and wardrobes opened and checked for mould
- Dust sheets folded inwards and carried out of the home
How we carry out deep cleaning after a summer closure
The first hour is spent bringing the home back to life. Windows are opened, the AC is switched on and every tap, shower and WC is run for several minutes to clear standing water and refill the traps. Dust sheets are folded inwards and carried out. Then the usual sequence applies: HEPA vacuuming from ceilings and AC grilles down to the skirting, wet cleaning of each room, a full degrease of the kitchen and descaling of the bathrooms. The fridge is wiped out before it is restocked.
Two or three months shut in a Abu Dhabi summer leaves a recognisable set of problems. Floor drains dry out and let sewer smell in. With the AC off, humidity builds and mould can appear on wardrobe backs, leather, bathroom ceilings and the fridge seal. Dust still finds its way through the window tracks. Cleaning on top of this without ventilating first just moves the stale air around. At the site visit, or on the day the keys are handed over, we check for mould, leaks, pests and AC faults before agreeing the scope.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.
Deep Cleaning After a Summer Closure in Al Mushrif: what we plan for
Al Mushrif is a long established villa district in the centre of Abu Dhabi island, between Airport Road and Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street. Most homes are standalone family villas on their own plots, in areas such as Al Qubaisat and along Al Saada Street, with compounds including Mushrif Gardens, Palm Oasis Villas and Al Yasat Compound. Umm Al Emarat Park and Mushrif Mall sit within the district.
Mature trees and large gardens give Mushrif more shade than most of the island, but they also bring leaf litter, pollen and birds. Irrigation keeps garden walls damp at the base, and dust from open plots and building work settles on terraces and in AC filters. Mushrif villas are often large family homes with majlis rooms, more than one kitchen and staff accommodation. The job is planned by zone so the family can keep using part of the house, and upholstery, carpets and curtains are cleaned on site where the fabric allows.
Standalone villas are reached directly, with the owner or house manager present for the first visit. Compounds such as Al Yasat and Palm Oasis have gate security, so the resident registers the crew in advance. Approvals for exterior work are identified at the site visit and we prepare the paperwork.
What your quotation depends on

Questions about deep cleaning after a summer closure in Al Mushrif
What does deep cleaning after a summer closure include?
A home closed for the summer is aired, checked and then deep cleaned: taps and drains are run, dust is HEPA vacuumed from every room, and kitchens and bathrooms are wet cleaned. The work includes windows opened and AC run to change the air before work starts; every tap, shower and WC flushed and floor traps refilled; fridge, cupboards and wardrobes opened and checked for mould.
Can the clean be done before we fly back?
Yes. Most clients leave a key with a relative, the building or us, and the crew works a few days before the return date. The supervisor sends photographs before and after, along with a note of anything found, such as a leak or an AC that does not cool.
What if there is mould when the home is opened?
Small patches on hard surfaces are HEPA vacuumed and wiped with an antifungal cleaner, and the room is dried out with the AC running. Widespread growth on walls, ceilings or soft furnishings points to a moisture problem that needs its own survey before cleaning will hold.
How much does deep cleaning after a summer closure cost in Al Mushrif?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.

How long does deep cleaning after a summer closure take?
Typically 4 to 8 hours for most apartments, and 1 to 2 days for most villas with a crew of four to six. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Do I need to be at home during the deep clean?
No. Many clients hand over a key or arrange access with security. The supervisor sends photographs during the day and the signed report at the end.
Do you bring your own equipment and products?
Yes. The crew arrives with machines, HEPA vacuums, steam units, microfibre and all products. We only need water and electricity at the property.
Are the products safe for children and pets?
We use professional products chosen for the surface, diluted correctly and rinsed off. Rooms are ventilated before handover. Tell us about allergies or sensitivities and we will adjust the product list.

How do I choose a company for deep cleaning after a summer closure in Al Mushrif?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
