What is included
A complete clean of every room, surface, fitting and fixture in the home, scoped in writing and signed off against fourteen checks. Deep cleaning reaches what weekly housekeeping leaves behind: the tops of wardrobes, AC grilles, window tracks, the grease line behind the cooker and the limescale that hard water leaves on glass and chrome. A supervised crew from The MELLS works through the home in a fixed order so nothing is missed and nothing is cleaned twice.

How we carry out wardrobe deep cleaning
A wardrobe collects more than people expect. Fine sand comes in on shoes and settles in the bottom track of sliding doors, lint builds up along the rails and in the corners of drawers, and the top shelf above head height is rarely touched. We take the contents out shelf by shelf onto clean sheeting, keeping each shelf together so it goes back the same way. The carcass is vacuumed from the top down with a crevice tool, then every board, rail and drawer box is wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and a mild detergent.
Doors get their own attention. Sliding door tracks are vacuumed and wiped so the runners stop grinding, hinges on swing doors are checked and the handles cleaned. Mirror panels are polished with a glass cleaner and a dry cloth, and lacquer or veneer fronts are wiped with a pH neutral product, never an abrasive pad. The interior is left open to dry before anything goes back. A musty smell or a mark on the back panel is noted, since it can point to damp on the wall behind.
How it works

- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.
